Tutor in Biology and Chemistry

One of our most enthusiastic tutors, Rosie teaches Biology and Chemistry for Hertford Academy. She graduated with a degree in Biological Science from the Queen’s College, Oxford, where she was awarded several scholarships for academic achievement. She has taught at several tutoring centres in the past, in both Hong Kong and the UK, as well as at English immersion camps in China, and is particularly experienced at instructing via on-line platforms. As such, Rosie emphasizes the importance of sustained interaction to keep her students engaged, learning, and having fun. 

Rosie lives in Taiwan, where she is conducting research on Marine Ecology at Taiwan National University. She is able to offer lessons by Skype for Hertford Academy.

• Achieved A* in GCE A-level Biology, with A in Maths and Chemistry.

• 12 GCSEs, with 10 at A*, including Biology and Chemistry.

• Michael Junior Scholarship and Styring Scholarship (2015).

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
