Tutor in English and Ancient Greek

Roxanne completed her Bachelor’s degree in Classics and English at Oriel College, Oxford, where she gained several undergraduate prizes, including the Gaisford Undergraduate Essay Prize for the best undergraduate thesis. An experienced tutor and student mentor, she believes firmly in the importance of role models, of setting a strong and inspiring example for the next generation of students. She has over 70 hours of experience as an Academic Support Volunteer with the charity IntoUniversity, which seeks to enable young people from all backgrounds to enjoy the benefits of a university education, and has participated in multiple events designed at increasing interest in the study of Classics. 

 

Roxanne is currently pursuing a Master’s at Oxford, and is available to offer on-line lessons via Skype for Hertford Academy.
