Simon is Hertford’s most experienced tutor. Since his graduation in Law from Kent University, he has guided countless students in Hong Kong through their examinations in English language and English literature for a range of different syllabuses, including IGCSE, A-level and IB Diploma.

Simon’s commitment to education goes far beyond examinations. He has been a speaker at schools conferences in both Hong Kong and Macau, presenting on classroom strategies to maximize student interaction and engagement in language lessons. He has also spoken at multiple events on the difficulties for non-native students in English as a First Language examinations, and the strategies that can be used to mitigate this difficulty. His experience in the latter has been essential to his design of Hertford's prestigious IELTS programme.
